Big Talker

Over the past month or so Ava's vocabulary has exploded. We're talking full-fledged communication with complete sentences and everything. It's so fun to have little conversations with her now, especially since she understands so much of what you say to her. She can say things like:

"Mommy, look at that!"
"I got soccer ball!" (though she says "socky" instead of "soccer")
"Sissy go potty?" (Could potty training be far off?)
"Oooooh, pitty house!" (She kept saying this when we were driving around Milwaukee on Sunday.)

She also likes to open the refrigerator and scratch her head while saying something like, "How about......apple?" And being such a concerned little girl, if I hurt myself she always asks me "Okay Mommy?"

But today though I was especially proud. When I was looking for a snack for her in the kitchen she pointed at the bag of assorted Archway cookies and said, "Mommy, I want CHOCOLATE!"

Ah, chocolate - the great motivator. How cute! Hm. May come in handy for the potty training. ;)
