"Cheese, Gromit!"

Today Juliana had the day off from school (Woo-Hoo! Yay Columbus!) so I decided to take the girls to see "Wallace and Gromit and the Curse of the Were-Rabbit" I was a little worried at first because Ava has never sat through a full movie at the theatre before. (Last year I took her with to see "The Incredibles" and we had to leave during the previews because the LOUDNESS caused her to start SQUEALING from some kind of sensory overload.)
Fortunately though, today was different. She sat on my lap almost the whole time, happily eating popcorn until the last ten mintues when she started to get just a little bit restless. She also yelled out "BA MOOOOOON!" when a full moon appeared on the screen, but other than that she was fairly quiet. Juliana was riveted as usual and was also very thrilled that I let her drink a cherry Icee.

Oh yeah, and we bought hats:

Pretty good for a little one Ava's age to sit through a movie like that. Glad you "girls" had a fun "day off". And the hats look great. But how about you? Did you get a hat as well? ;)

Alas, I did not get a hat. I'm more of an ear muff kind of gal. (You don't get "hat head" that way!) And my ear muffs don't have Disney princesses or Dora the Explorer on them either. :-)
