Mommy Is A Boring Grocery Shopper

Juliana this morning:

"Mom, when I'm sixteen and I get my drivers license I'm going to go to Pick and Save and buy some of that cool jelly in the squeezy tube."

That's funny. Be sure to get back to us when she actually does turn sixteen and let us know if there are any changes in the intinerary. ;)

You know she'll do it, too! She and Maddie will walk to the grocery store sans parents (not unlike two teenagers I recall from years ago...), and with their allowance each week will purchase all the 86'ed items from our respective households. The cool jelly in the squeezy tube, and Maddie will probably pick out a giant bag of chips - any kind - with her favorite cartoon character on it, some character from a 2007 tv show that you and I will never have heard of but she will undoubtedly think of as "retro."
